On the May 8th EKON Association was visited by Mr. Marcin Pluta, the Mayor of Brzeziny who is the enthusiast of "real” social economy. He was familiarized with the activity of the Association, visited the sorting plant of packages wastes and took part in the lecture concerning selective collecting of packages wastes

Our visitor expressed his appreciation for workers- disabled persons,
who fulfil their duties in an excellent way.

On April 4th we had a pleasure to host Ms. Krystyna Mrugalska in our sorting plant. Our guest familiarized with the organization of our association.

Ms. Mrugalska is the President of the Main Board of the Polish Association for People with Mental Handicap, a member of the National Consultative Council at the Government Plenipotentiary for Disabled People and the President of the Board of the Polish Forum for Disabled People.

First trainings are over

We have a pleasure to announce that two rounds of trainings are over. We have already trained 50 disabled persons in the field of environment protection. Some of them have been already employed.

On March 8th, 2012 EKON Association had a pleasure to host Wojciech Skiba, President of the State Fund for Rehabilitation of Disabled Persons (PFRON) in our sorting plant at 5 Mortkowicza Street.

President Wojciech Skiba could see how EKON Association helps disabled people. He visited every corner of our plant and saw how our charges manage their duties.
